How do I find you using a GPS?

What time does the garage close?
The Garage At Post Office Square is open and staffed with an on-site manager 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
 

What is the daily rate?
Each business day begins at 5:00 AM. The daily rate is $34.00 for 2 1/2 hours or more, up to 24 hours, between any 5:00 AM to 4:59 AM period, Monday through Friday. Should you enter the garage between 4:00 PM and 4:59 AM the next day, you will only be charged the evening rate of $9.00. Discounts on the daily rate and other posted rates are available through our parking programs.

Do you have special evening & weekend rates?
Yes. Our evening and weekend rate is just $9.00. We also offer a Night Owl Card - a $90 prepaid card that allows you ten visits to the garage, beginning as early as 2:30 PM through 8:00 AM the following day.

The evening rate is $9.00. Evenings begin at 4:00 PM each day and you must depart by 8:00 AM the following morning.

I drive an electric car. Where are the EV spaces?
There are eight Level 2 EV charging stations on the Lobby Level of the Garage within sight of the Garage Office. There is no fee to use the stations, but regular parking rates apply as you exit the Garage.

I drive a van. Will it fit in Garage At Post Office Square?
A number of parking spaces on the Lobby Level of the Garage are available for oversized vehicles. Specific clearance restrictions are posted at Garage entrances. The Garage cannot accommodate vehicles that are over 7'6". Vehicles that are over 6'10" should only use the Congress Street entrance.

When paying by check, to whom should I make it payable to and to what address should the payment be sent?
Please make checks payable to Garage At Post Office Square. If you are holder of The Preferred Card or The Park Card, please be sure to include your account number on the check. Payments sent via mail should be addressed to Post Office Square Redevelopment Corporation, Century Bank Electronic Ops, P.O. Box 87, Medford, MA 02155-0001.
 

Where is the closest ATM Machine?
A Bank of America ATM is conveniently located in the main lobby.
 

What is the current monthly parking rate?
The current rate for a Preferred Card (monthly parking pass) is $445. Availability of monthly passes is limited. Contact us by email or call us at 617-423-1500 for more information and to inquire about availability.
 

How do I update my Preferred Card account information?
To update contact, vehicle or billing information on your Preferred Card account download The Preferred Card Cancellation and Information Change Form. Complete the form, print it and take it to the Cashier and Information station located on the lobby level of the Garage for processing.
 

How do I cancel my Preferred Card account?
Thirty (30) days notice is required for cancellation of a Preferred Card account.  To cancel your Preferred Card account download The Preferred Card Cancellation and Information Change Form. Complete the form, print it and take it to the Cashier and Information station located on the lobby level of the Garage for processing.
 

Do you offer special rates on Holidays?
Yes, we offer a holiday rate of $9.00 between 5:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following day for the following holidays. Enter the Garage after 4:00 p.m. and the standard evening rate of $9.00 applies.

Is there a minimum amount of usage required on my Park Card account?
No, there is no minimum Park Card usage required – simply use the card as often as you'd like. Your balance on your account will remain unaffected until your next usage. Please see the terms and conditions on The Park Card form for additional details.
 

I’ve printed and completed my Park Card application. What is the next step?
Your completed application for The Park Card may be dropped off at the garage office, or faxed to 617.423.2141. Once an application and payment is received (via cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), your card will be activated within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. Cards can be picked up at the garage lobby office.
 

I've submitted my Park Card application – how do I get my card?
Once a completed Park Card form is submitted along with any initial payments, your card will be activated and ready for pick up at the Garage Office on the lobby level of the garage. Please allow up to 24 hours for your application to be processed before picking up your card.
 

Do I receive a 15% discount if I have forgotten my Park Card or pulled a transient parking ticket?
In order to qualify for a 15% discount, you must enter and exit the garage using your Park Card. Customers who have forgotten their Park Card and have pulled a ticket to enter the garage should proceed to the cashier station to pay the posted parking rates. Parking fees are payable by cash, check or credit card and may not be debited from your Park Card account.
 

Do you provide statements of parking activity and expenses?
Yes. Customers utilizing The Park Card can enroll to receive E-Statements on a monthly basis via email. Customers can also choose to receive weekly E-statements with their Park Card account activity in addition to their monthly E-Statements.
 

How do I know when I qualify for Free Night & Weekend parking?
Customers using The Park Card can qualify for free night and weekend parking. The Park Card is a debit card program. When a customer’s monthly Park Card usage is $150 or more, the customer automatically qualifies for free night and weekend parking in the following month. Customers with The Park Card can register to receive E-Statements, a monthly account of their parking activity, which includes notice of Free Night and Weekend status. Existing customers may sign up for E-Statements here.
 

How can I obtain a replacement for a lost Park Card?
To obtain a replacement card, go to the cashier’s counter on the lobby level of the Garage. A $10 replacement fee will be charged, payable by cash or check. The replacement fee cannot be debited to your Park Card account.
 

How do I update my Park Card account information?

If I close my Park Card account, can I receive a refund for the remaining balance on my account?
The Park Card is a pre-paid parking program. That means the balance in your Park Card account is the value of pre-paid parking in your Park Card account and is not a cash balance. Accordingly, the balance in a Park Card account is not refundable. Please see the terms and conditions on The Park Card form for additional details.
